COVID-19 has changed many people's plans. We were hoping to host an in-person fundraiser dinner and silent auction this month... But with tragedy and challenge often comes opportunity and growth.

We have fortunately found a way to still host a fundraiser online - and build on our mission to connect networks of people grounded in trust.
Our auction will be online, with the bidding open for 2 weeks: May 1-14, 2020. And this isn't a "silent" auction either - you might be exclaiming with delight when you see some of the donated items and services you can bid on!

Aside from connecting with friends from many different backgrounds and fields of expertise, over the past few weeks we have also been keenly aware of the immense impact we are all facing with this global pandemic. This is showing us that we are much more connected than we can tell sometimes. People all over the world are experiencing some of the same hardships: lost jobs, isolation from friends and family, uncertainty...
We have been reminded that although this is a very large world event, it is still so important that we move forward with our vision. Because what we are determined to do is to support as many people and communities as we can, in the most effective ways we can. To do that, we must continue to meet, connect, fundraise, and give.

The items you see in our Auction Catalog have all been donated so that your winning bid amount goes to CommonGoods Network so that we can continue to support amazing communities and projects.

It feels so good to be able to give to others, especially when so many are in need right now. Everyone has their own gifts to offer, and their own capacity to give. This is the beauty of living in a connected world. And now we get to really explore the power of virtual connection and social media! It's at least as exciting as it is scary - most of the time.

So we hope you will take a look at the many offerings becoming available on our online auction fundraiser this May! If you see something you want, BID! You may end up with something super valuable for far less than you would otherwise need to pay.
